Quality Assurance Program – The VWA Technical Committee is exploring a Quality Assurance Program for Virginia wines. Using grant funding, the committee is conducting research using various groups as information sources.

Legislative Information and Representation – The Virginia Wineries Association supports the Virginia Wine Council with their lobbying events. VWA supports them financially and by donating time to meet with Legislators to assist in being the Wine Industries voice before the legislature.

VWA also participates and lends support to national issues and initiatives regularly.

 

Furthering the Industry – The association and the Board work tirelessly to keep the industry in the forefront of elected officials, the various departments and secretaries, as well as the regulatory boards making sure Virginia Farm Wineries have a voice and to seek marketing and promotions that will benefit the industry as a whole.
